Contributed talks and posters
We are taking applications for contributed talks and posters. We will (likely) have slots available for contributed short talks (of length 20-30 minutes), lightning talks (of length 5-10 minutes) and posters. Each participant can contribute up to one talk or poster; you can indicate which categories you would like to be considered for.

We approve contributions in a rolling manner until the schedule is filled and aim at letting you know the outcome within a month. You are welcome to apply before registering for the conference.
Registration
Registration is now open. Please pay attention to the following points before starting the registration process:
- Payment is by credit card (Amex, Mastercard, Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron).
- There are two categories of registration: Full and Concession.
The concession rate is exclusively for students and retired staff. - A discounted early-bird registration rate for both categories of registration (£120 Early-bird Full; £80 Early-bird Concession) is available until
31st May after which registration fees will rise (£160 Full and £120 Concession).Registration will close on 31st July at latest. The number of participants is limited, and registration may close before the above deadlines if the limit is reached. - Please note that the deadlines above refer to the dates by which the payment should be made. We therefore advise liaising with your home institution regarding payment methods without undue delay if you wish to take advantage of the early bird rate. We do not plan to make extensions to the above deadlines, so please factor this into your plans.
- In all cases, the registration fee covers: access to all conference sessions, lunches (provided on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) and coffee breaks (provided throughout the programme which runs from Monday afternoon through to Friday morning).
There will be a separate charge for the conference dinner : this will be announced later to be paid via the same system. To assess numbers it would, however, be helpful if you could indicate whether you plan to attend the dinner. The form below will ask for the following details: Category of registration, Title, First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Organisation, Details of any dietary requirements, Details of any accessibility requirements, Expression of Interest in the conference dinner, Payment method.- We are unable to offer financial support for participants, but may be able to offer a small number of fee waivers in exceptional cases: express interest by contacting the organisers via email semigroups@manchester.ac.uk as soon as possible, giving brief details of your circumstances, including employment status.
