The conference will bring together researchers in semigroup theory and closely related topics to discuss recent research developments, aiming to inspire future research and provide opportunities for networking and the formation of future collaborations.
The conference will honour and celebrate the 65th birthday of Professor Victoria (Vicky) Gould. Vicky is Professor of Mathematics at the University of York, UK. A leading figure in semigroup theory, with over 100 publications and 49 co-authors, Vicky has supervised 17 PhD students and managed an active group of researchers at the University of York for many years. Externally, Vicky has held roles with the London Mathematical Society and is currently Vice-President of the European Mathematical Society and Chair of the Semigroup Forum Council. Vicky is a very active researcher with wide interests who provides much support and encouragement to others, particularly early career researchers. The scientific programme of our conference aims to mirror these excellent traits, in the breadth of topics covered and in the support provided for early career researchers. We invite you to join us in Manchester!

We gratefully acknowledge financial support from the Heilbronn Institute for Mathematical Research (HIMR) and the UKRI/EPSRC Additional Funding Programme for Mathematical Sciences.
